Wedding decorations?
So I finally found my wedding hall and set the date! YAY for us! So now I need help figuring out decorations… So the county we live in has very strict rules about candles, the have to be bottom heavy. Be inclosed shaped like a fishbowl effect and you must be able to lay tissue paper across the top of it while the candle is burning for ten seconds without the tissue igniting. So what kind of things could I do for my center pieces? I really wanted candles on top of mirrors. Please help!

You can buy battery-operated tealights or votives at the dollar store or any giftware store, even larger candles operated with batteries that flicker like candles. Then set them on mirrors like you wanted. Can’t place a price on safety! Or if you’re a purist and insist on real candles, go to a florist wholesaler and buy cheap glass vases for the candles, the roundish ones used for rosebowls, and set your votives inside those. You have to cut the wicks short so that the flames are low, that’s the secret!
