Help with the wedding day process?

Can someone break down the process for me?… Like who did ur ceremony and reception decorations?..and if u are getting married @ 6 can the bride and bridesmaids do the decorations throughout the day (just setting up flowers, pew decorations, and favors/flowers at the reception site)… how long do u keep a limo? do u have a car waiting at the reception site so u dont have 2 pay extra for a limo?… if u have a car waiting after the reception for the bride and groom how would the rest of the party get home? who rides in the limo from the church to the reception site? who rides in the limo to the church… should both the bride and groom have seperate limo’s?

First and foremost, you can probably axe the limos all together. Unless you have a rather large budget, I never understand why people rent limos because they’re so expensive, and you barely use them. There’s nothing wrong with everyone driving their own cars, carpooling or renting regular cars if they’re traveling.

If you must have the limos, the wedding party travels in them to and from the ceremony and reception site. I see no reason for the bride and groom to have a separate limo.

During the day, you really should be relaxing with your wedding party. In all honesty, a wedding “day of” coordinator is worth WAY more money than limos. They will set-up everything for you so you don’t have to do anything that day but enjoy your time with your family. We hired one, and we’re so happy we did. The total was $1000, which included our officiant, and our coordinator will be there at the rehearsal, and all day on the wedding day.

If you can’t have a wedding coordinator for the day, then yes, you’ll have to recruit your friends and family to help set-up. Even if you have a later afternoon or evening wedding, the time will fly by, and you need that time to get ready! Start as early in the morning as possible to get it done and out of the way. Designate tasks to everyone beforehand so there’s no chaos the day of.
